METU will be the coordinator of the H2020-MSCA RISE project of Assoc. Prof. Mecit Halil Öztop from Food Engineering department with the title of SuChAQuality, with a budget of 1.6 million €, in partnership with Serbia, Germany, Poland, UK, Belarus, Pakistan, Chile and Sout Africa to develop alternative quality control methods fort he sugar, chocolate and confectionery industry. Kayseri Sugar, Durukan Confectionery Industry and Trade Inc., and Tören Food Industry and Trade Inc.will also contribute to the project.
