Project Grant of 13 Million Euros for METU

METU’s two projects are granted.

METU’s two projects are granted in Ministry of Industry and Technology’s Competitive Sectors Program’s second phase calls within the scope of Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) which is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey.

The new 123 applications with a total value of 473 million euros applied for the new call for proposals under the titles of “Creative Industries” and “Research and Development”, which aims increasing industry productivity, commercialization of innovation and reducing the current deficit. A detailed and comprehensive evaluation resulted in 17 successful project applications to be shortlisted including all three of our projects, on December 26, 2019. As a result of field trips, considering sectorial and regional priorities of the program, a total of 11 projects including METU’s two projects found eligible for support.
