“National Polar Science Program” as part of “Antarctic Scientific Research and Science Base Project” conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology under the auspices of the Presidency of Republic of Turkey was published and entered into force in December 2017. Under the program, a “National Polar Science Workshop” is organized every year to evaluate the scientific projects and studies carried out by Turkish scientists and the results of scientific expeditions in the polar zone and the developments on the priority areas.
