Middle East Technical University has become one of the member universities of the Pan-European Seal Program through a protocol signed with the European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on September 19, 2024.
As part of this initiative, an online presentation will be held for students and alumni of the member universities of the Pan-European Seal Program. Young Professionals working at the European Patent Office will provide insights into the application process and their daily experiences in the program. The online session titled “Life as a Young Professional at the European Patent Office” is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, at 14:00 and will be free of charge. The event is expected to run for one hour, consisting of a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A session, and it will aim to address the following questions:
- What is it like to be part of an international organization?
- What are the exciting aspects of the field of intellectual property?
- How does the Young Professionals Program at the EPO promote professional development while also providing first-hand employment experience?
- How does the program help you integrate your academic knowledge into your role?
- Which area of work would be the best fit for you?
