METU Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Gender and Women Studies is organizing an event for International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 13.00 at METU Library Solmaz İzdemir Hall.
Dr. Gülsüm Kav, Representative of We Will Stop Femicide Platform will deliver a speech in the event titled “Fighting Violence Against Women” in the memory of Ceren Damar, a Research Assistant at Faculty of Law, Çankaya University, who was murdered at the beginning of this year.
