Middle East Technical University was ranked 1st among state universities in Turkey and in the 501-510 band among world universities in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a world-renowned UK-based company specialized in analyzing institutions of higher education, 2023 World Universities Ranking.
METU succeeded in continuing its rise by being in the 501-510 band according to the 2023 world university ranking results when compared to the previous years’ rankings in which METU ranked in the 601-650 band in 2021, and in the 551-560 band in 2022.
METU has reached the highest level of success in the last 10 years according to the 2023 results, by being placed in the top 35% of the world in the QS World Universities Ranking.
