Middle East Technical University has ranked in the 501-600 band in the World University Rankings 2023, prepared by Times Higher Education (THE), a prestigious UK-based ranking institution.

Middle East Technical University has ranked first in the “Most Successful Turkish Research Institutions” list with the amount of funding it received in Horizon Europe projects to be utilized from 2021 through 2027.

METU was ranked 1st among state universities in Turkey and in the 501-510 band among world universities in the QS 2023 World Universities Ranking.

METU has ranked 336th in the 2022 world university rankings announced by the Round University Ranking (RUR), and placed in the "Bronze League".

Middle East Technical University ranked 1st, just like last year, in the 2021 Patent Report, published by Patent Effect.

In the 2022 edition of the Impact Rankings published by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the most prestigious university ranking institutions, Middle East Technical University has ranked first among the universities in Turkey and in the 101-200 band worldwide.

Just like last year, METU has once again ranked first by far among the universities in Turkey.

Our University has ranked first in 10 subjects among the universities in Turkey while sharing first place with another university in 3 subjects, making Middle East Technical University the top-ranking university in Turkey in 13 subjects.

METU has ranked first among the universities in Turkey in QS EECA 2022 ranking that includes the top universities in Emerging Europe and Central Asia.

METU has maintained its success in ranking first in TÜBİTAK's Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index in 2021, just like in the previous years.
