The application results for the second term of the 2024 Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) ARDEB 1001 Research Support Program have been announced. During this call period, 10 projects led by METU researchers and 2 projects led by METU Center for Solar Energy Research (GÜNAM) have been approved for funding.
The ARDEB 1001 program, which is announced twice a year to support projects designed in accordance with scientific principles for generating new knowledge, making scientific interpretations or solving technological problems, funded a total of 30 projects from METU and 4 projects from METU-GÜNAM in 2024.
Among the proposals evaluated based on Original Value, Methodology, Project Management and Broader Impact, three TÜBİTAK 1001 projects in the field of Chemistry-Biology, two each in the fields of Mathematics-Physics, Social Sciences and Electrical, Electronics and Informatics, and one in the field of Engineering will be carried out at METU under the second term call for 2024. Meanwhile, METU-GÜNAM will conduct two projects in the field of Mathematics-Physics.
Detailed information about the 2024 second-term results of TÜBİTAK ARDEB 1001 can be accessed here. The titles and principal investigators of the projects selected for funding at METU are listed in the table below.
