METU received the highest number of project funds in the 1001 program proposed to the TÜBİTAK Research Support Programs Department (ARDEB) in the second half of 2018. METU has maintained its the title of “being a university that has the highest number of projects supported for funding” for the last four years.
With respect to the ARDEB 1001 program, METU has taken the first place in terms of the number of supported projects among universities not only with 18 projects in the September 2018 call, but also with 137 projects in total in all the calls in the 2015-2018 period, which corresponds to a success rate of 40%.
In addition, METU has achieved the highest number of projects accepted for funding among the research universities under ARDEB 1001 program.
