Asst. Prof. Ahmet Acar from the Department of Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Arts and Science was awarded the “Molecular Biology and Genetics Research Award” by the Aydın Doğan Foundation.
This year, a total of two researchers received the “Molecular Biology and Genetics Research Award”, which has been given in honor of Dr. Özlem Türeci and Prof. Uğur Şahin, who were awarded the 25th Aydın Doğan Awards held at the end of 2021, with the purpose of rewarding successful and promising young academics regarding their research. The award evaluation processes were carried out by the collaborative efforts of the Science Academy and Aydın Doğan Foundation, and the results were announced on June 17, 2022.
