METU EKOSAM is organizing the 3rd Count Species! activity on METU campus on Friday, June 4, 2021, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.

Organized by The Center for Solar Energy Research and Applications (GÜNAM) of our University, the2nd International Conference on Photovoltaic Science and Technologies is held online between November 30 and December 2, 2020, within the scope of coronavirus restrictions.

The Black Sea Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) Stakeholder Consultation Workshop within the scope of EU H2020 Black Sea CONNECT Project, which is the first multi-partner Horizon2020 consortium coordinated by METU, was held on September 16, 2020.

A webinar will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 11.30 am, with the organization of the METU Science Communication Team. Ogan Gurel, MD, will attend the webinar as the speaker.

A webinar on “Climate change effects on lakes - evidence from cross-system studies from the arctic to the tropics and from ecosystem modelling” will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 8.00 pm (19.00 CEST), with the support of the METU Science Communication Team.

A webinar on “Designing Games that Resonate with Learners and Learning” will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 9.30 pm . Prof. Eric Kopfler will attend the webinar as the speaker.

Under the leadership of METU Presidency, “METU Presidential Lecture Series” will be held throughout the 2019-2020 Academic Year, in which world-renowned and Nobel Prize-winning scientists will be present as speakers.

Countdown has started for Turkish Programming Contest 2019, which aims to provide new skills to young computer engineering students by combining algorithmic thinking with teamwork.

The third National Polar Science Workshop will be held on September 5-6, 2019 by METU.
